Admission and Graduation Requirements

The NOUN BSc Chemistry programme offers two entry options:

1. 4-Year BSc (Hons) Chemistry Programme

To gain admission, candidates must have:

  • At least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including:
    • English Language
    • Mathematics
    • Chemistry
    • Physics
    • Any other relevant science subject
  • The O’Level results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • Accepted O’Level exam bodies include WAEC, GCE London-moderated O’Level, and University of Cambridge-moderated O’Level.

2. 3-Year BSc (Hons) Chemistry Programme (Direct Entry)

In addition to the O’Level requirements above, candidates must also have:

  • At least Upper Credit in OND or NCE in Chemistry or a closely related course.
  • OR Two A-Level passes (A-E grade) in relevant subjects such as:

    • Botany

Graduation Requirements
